Oh wow I’ve just realized that today is the 1st anniversary of Bangkok’s Tank Day a.k.a. last year’s military coup that kicked Thaksin out of his PM chair.

It was exciting I remember. There were trucks and tanks with soldiers marching up and down the streets. All communication channels blocked, TV bombarded with Military Dude reading some boring stuff and foreign news coverage banned. I thought it would be a bloodshed instead old a-mas walked up to those scary men in khaki tights giving them khao tom.

Ahh good times.
