She’s Dead

From the best:

To this:

What bothers me the most is not the lip syncing, the appearance, or the music that fails to give the beat, but the fact that she lost “it”. Look at her facial expression and her bodily movement, in 2002 MTV VMAs she KNEW she was hot, she KNEW she was great, so she gave it her best shot. Now 2007, 5 years, 2 kids, 1 shaved head older, she had to pressure herself to do it, to make the “comeback”, but you can really tell from the look on her face that she’s no longer believing in herself.

The most obvious tip-off point is when there’s a voice that says “It’s Britney Bitch”, her face wasn’t playful, there was no devious eyes that she used to do. Compare that with the Slave 4 U video during the solo when her voice said, “Now Watch Me”. That’s Britney. She danced, she made faces, she played with the crowd. Now she just looks as if she doesn’t even have the strength to breathe.

You know I would understand if she was conscious about her weight, and I could ignore the fact that she was lip-syncing, which she did many times before during her glory days as she had to dance. If she had danced in this one, and I mean the real Britney Dance, it would have more than made up for everything.

I feel so bad for her. I still wish for her real comeback and not this bullshit.
