My friend Dwight Turner from the online goodwill group In Search Of Sanuk is organizing Thailand’s second Twestival (Twitter+Festival).
No it’s not as geeky as it sounds. It’s a part of World Wide Twestival, each of which have one associated charity or a cause they’d like to promote and the profits from these Twestivals will go to their respective charities and foundations. Thailand’s one is a co-event by In Search of Sanuk and LUSH, a green networking group.
The event will be held next Friday, Sep 11th 2009 at the pool of Fraser Suites Sukhumvit. The event is B200 per person and includes one drink. More drinks, more money to the kids at Baan Dada and Baan Unrak.
I’ll be there manning the registration table (he doesn’t trust me with the donation box) if I get there on time.

HI gnarly kitty, love your site! Particularly liked your story of toasting the staff in the Paragon!! Wondering if you can get me a bit of advice? I’m coming up to BKK next week and am also starting a new exercise regime (to lose the baby flab) I want to start running but only have a massive ipod i can’t afford to break….looked at ipod shuffle online – they just brought out a new one, about 79 usd, I’m wondering if i can get an older one in MBK for less? I only need it to hold some songs and be fairly small. Don’t really want to spend 3000B on it seeing as my exercise regimes are usually quite short!!! what do you think?

There are some old models on sale at MBK but most of them will be used. I do know a few trusted stores I can refer you to though.

THanks so much gnarly kitty, where can you recommend? I find it so difficult in MBK, i’m not a tech person so i never really know what i’m looking for or how much things cost, and i think i probably get ripped off!
Thanks a million.
