Finally I had enough time to whip up my own theme.

OK. Well. I cheated. I actually based it on another theme, as I was looking for an idea and also a template that would let me have big header space for my little collage.

Yes those are my things. Well except the cookie and the leather tag, those were obviously photoshopped in. I took the picture of other stuff myself, but thanks to my crappy Sony Cybershot and its incompetent 8-megapixel feature, it was too spotted and too blue, despite the photo being taken at around 10am this morning.

So I just nudged up the contrast and saturation bars for the funky blinding colors.

And hey, the picture has a hidden message you know. There was a reason why I spent my first day as an unemployed doing this.

The original “torn-up” look was a bit pixelated so I fixed that too and then added the paper bag background to make it look more organic.

So yeah. That’s it.

OK my miniscule group of blog readers, especially those not living in the land of crappy hosts a.k.a. Thailand, how is the speed now? Are the pages loaded? Any sidebar menus missing? Can it be viewed on Firefox, IE, Safari or Chrome?

After a series of trials and errors I finally have my blog up and running on my new domain, gnarlykitty.org.

What I am scared the most is that I am sure to lose traffic. Blogger doesn’t support the transfer of Page Rank, and I tried to do one of those redirect codes to make all links on my blogspot go directly to their corresponding pages on the Wordpress one, well, didn’t work.

So I took the Zen route, kept calm, and just said to myself, “Fuck it”.

The result is the little banner on the top of this blog telling you all where you should be heading from now on.

There are still things I need to learn about Wordpress but one thing for sure though I am in love with plugins. They can make your blog do pretty much anything. And really, B2,500 a year for 2GB space and 10GB bandwidth, I really do not mind the hassle.

So, yeah, goodbye Blogger, hello Wordpress and the rest of the geek world.

Don’t you have better things to do than clicking on every comment link on every one of my post and tell me how stupid I am?

Don’t you have a job? A hobby at least? Hell, don’t like my blog then stop giving me traffic. Stop linking, stop clicking, stop reading.

I bet you’re now sitting in a bar in Cowboy stealing their free wifi while reading my blog. Feel bad for that girl you just paid for man. She must be bored sitting there waiting for you to finish trolling on my blog.

Next time, be a man. Leave your damn name and email and I will write back. Scared?

Even the iPhone post. It’s just a picture and a link. Seriously. Don’t diss the iPhone.

Nice. I signed myself up for a Blogger Mobile and I got myself an ugly automated post.

Oh well. At least now I can edit my blog on my phone. Didn't even know this feature existed.
