The inauguration of a US president has never been such a world-wide event like this one.

Who else is watching?

I’m waiting to see the ceremony, the parade and the speech. But I’m also keeping my fingers crossed that something won’t happen on world-wide broadcast. Let’s face it, there’s a risk.

When will us Thais ever get a leader who we’re so eager to see take office? And the one we’re happy to see on the chair isn’t technically the one we elected.

Well if they can get an African American president, there’s hopefully a chance for us to get a democratically uncorrupted elected prime minister also.
